Learning Support
At Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School, we are committed to helping every student achieve their best. We recognise that each learner is unique, and our Learning Support team works in partnership with families, teachers, and external agencies to provide the right assistance at the right time.
We offer a range of supports, including:
In-class adjustments and differentiated teaching strategies
Small group programs to strengthen literacy, numeracy, and study skills
Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) developed and monitored in consultation with families
Specialist support for Aboriginal students and those learning English as an additional language (EALD)
Guidance and referral to psychologists, health professionals, and external services when required
Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every student feels confident, connected, and supported. By combining evidence-based teaching with strong family partnerships, we ensure all students have equitable access to high-quality learning and the opportunity to thrive.
