Follow the Dream
The Follow the Dream: Partnerships for Success program offers after-school tuition and mentoring for aspirational Aboriginal secondary students in WA public schools. The aim is to support students to achieve strong academic results and transition into meaningful post-school pathways, including university, further training or employment.
The Kalgoorlie Follow the Dream (FTD) program is co-funded by the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation and the Department of Education, with proud support from AngloGold Ashanti Australia, BHP and Wesfarmers. Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School is one of three feeder schools for the program.
Students in the program can take part in a range of opportunities, including events hosted by industry sponsors, interstate university camps, outreach programs and activities with Federal Government agencies.
