Welcome message from the Principal
Welcome to the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School website.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School (KBCHS) is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school proudly serving Years 7 to 10. With approximately 900 students from diverse cultural backgrounds, our school community is built on respect, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

At the heart of KBCHS is a strong culture guided by our ROAR values – Respect, Organisation, Achievement, and Resilient – which define the “KB Way” and shape daily life at our school.
Opened in 2006, KBCHS offers a wide variety of programs to support, extend, and engage students. We provide academic extension opportunities, specialist football and netball programs, and targeted support for Aboriginal students through Stars, Clontarf, and Follow the Dream. In 2025, we proudly opened a brand-new STEM laboratory, further enhancing our future-focused learning pathways.
Thanks to a $45 million upgrade in 2016, our school features state-of-the-art facilities that provide an exceptional learning environment. Our committed Student Services team works in partnership with students and families to ensure wellbeing and safety are prioritised.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our people, programs, and the opportunities that make KBCHS a dynamic place to learn and grow.
