Gifted & Talented
Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School supports students with exceptional ability through the Western Australian Department of Education’s Gifted & Talented Secondary Selective Entrance Programs.
These programs provide challenging and enriching learning experiences that allow students to extend their skills, explore their talents, and connect with like-minded peers. Entry is highly competitive and determined through state-wide testing and selection.
Students who are successful in gaining entry may choose to remain enrolled at KBCHS while completing their Gifted & Talented subjects online, including those offered through Perth Modern School. This allows students to benefit from the opportunities of a selective program while staying connected to their local school and community.
