KB Clubs

At Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School, we encourage students to connect, explore their passions, and get involved in activities that build friendships and community. Our clubs are open to everyone - no experience needed!

🥞 Breakfast Club 🥞

Start your morning right! Breakfast Club runs every Wednesday and Friday from 8:00–8:30 am in HE3. Come along for a healthy breakfast, a friendly chat, and a positive start to the school day.

🌍 Culture Club 🌍

Celebrate diversity, share traditions, and learn from others. Culture Club is a space where students can connect through food, music, dance, and stories from different cultures. It’s all about respect, pride, and coming together as one school community.

🌿 Cultural Studies After-School Club 🌿

Our Cultural Studies Club focuses on Māori and Pacific performance. Students learn traditional songs, dance, and cultural practices while preparing for school and community events. It’s a fun and meaningful way to share culture, perform with pride, and strengthen cultural identity.

🌈 Skittles Club 🌈

Our Skittles Club is a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. Come along to meet friends, share experiences, and build community. Everyone is welcome, whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or want to show your support as an ally.

✏️ Homework Club ✏️

Need a quiet place to catch up or a little extra support with schoolwork? Homework Club runs in the Library every Tuesday after school from 3:00–4:00 pm (Weeks 2–9 each term). Teachers are on hand to help, and it’s a great chance to stay on top of your learning.

💃 Dance Squad 🕺

Love to dance? Join the KBCHS Dance Squad! Meeting every Monday from 3:00–4:00 pm in the Dance Room/PAR, this free after-school club gives students the chance to learn new moves, build confidence, and perform. Members will have opportunities to represent our school at assemblies, community events, and venues around Kalgoorlie.

🎸Guitar Club 🎸

If you love music or want to learn something new, Guitar Club is the place to be! Meeting every Monday after school in the Great Hall, this club is open to all KBCHS students—whether you’re a beginner or already know a few chords. Come along to practise, jam with others, and build your skills in a relaxed, supportive space.

🎭 Drama Club 🎭

Step into the spotlight with Drama Club! Whether you’re interested in acting, stagecraft, or just building your confidence, this club is for you. Students will explore improvisation, theatre games, and performance skills, with opportunities to showcase their talent at school events. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
