Charges and Voluntary Contributions

At KBCHS, we are committed to providing every student with the best possible learning opportunities. One way families can support this is through charges and voluntary contributions.

While voluntary contributions are not compulsory, they make a real difference to the quality of resources, programs and activities we can offer. These funds go directly back into classrooms to help cover the cost of items such as textbooks, learning materials, specialist equipment, art supplies, science resources, sporting gear and technology.

Course charges apply to subjects that have a higher cost due to consumable materials, specialised equipment or external services (for example, certain practical electives, VET courses or excursions). These charges are compulsory and are set to recover the cost of delivering these programs.

Every dollar collected from voluntary contributions and charges is invested in improving your child’s education and helping us maintain a high standard of learning across the school. By paying these amounts, you are directly supporting enriched learning experiences for all students at KBCHS.

For more details on current contributions and charges, please see our course booklets or contact our Administration Office.
